JEDDAH PUBLIC PARK Navigate to see our project JEDDAH PUBLIC PARK The Jeddah Public Park has been envisioned as an open and accessible green space that responds gracefully to the local climate while providing a balance between active community zones and quiet shaded corners for reflection. Drawing inspiration from the character of modern oriental Islamic gardens, the design creates a lush, serene environment that blends tradition with contemporary sensibilities. At the heart of the concept is a sensitivity to the existing landscape. Mature trees andpalms have been carefully retained and aesthetically pruned, ensuring continuity with thesite’s natural character while enriching its visual appeal. The entrances are marked withplanting beds of Crinums, Agaves, Vinca, and Ixora, chosen for their fragrance and vibrantcolor, offering visitors a sensory welcome. Throughout the park, bougainvillea hedges and climbers frame the boundaries with seasonal vibrancy, while Pennisetum grasses, Ruellia, and carefully placed rocks and gravel introduce softness, texture, and a natural rhythm to the garden. The material palette reflects a contemporary yet timeless aesthetic. A signature fence withpatterned detailing defines the edge, while the flooring alternates between coloredconcrete, stone, and gravel finishes to create variety and harmony underfoot. Subtlelighting elements are integrated throughout the park, accentuating pathways, trees, andfocal points, ensuring that the garden remains inviting and atmospheric well into the evening. This public park is more than a landscaped space; it is a place where fragrance, greenery, and thoughtful design come together to create a welcoming retreat for the Jeddah community. PROJECT IMAGES
Al Hada Mosque
AL HADA MOSQUE Navigate to see our project AL HADA MOSQUE Located in the serene setting of Al Hada, Riyadh, the Al Hada Mosque landscape was envisioned as a contemplative environment that enhances both the spiritual and communal experience of the site. Commissioned by Daaem Company and delivered by DIL, the project integrates thoughtful planting, irrigation, and lighting design into a cohesive whole. The landscape design emphasizes simplicity, resilience, and beauty. Date palms, olive trees, and native Ziziphus form the backbone of the planting scheme, anchoring the mosque with shade and permanence. These are complemented by shrubs and ground covers such as rosemary, lavender, bougainvillea, and ornamental grasses, chosen for their adaptability, seasonal variety, and subtle fragrance. Rock groupings and desert-friendly textures further connect the site to its natural context. Beyond planting, DIL designed and installed an efficient irrigation network tailored toRiyadh’s arid conditions, ensuring long term plant health with minimal water use. A carefully coordinated lighting strategy highlights the mosque’s architectural elements and guides visitors safely through pathways, while maintaining a calm night-time ambiance. The project was completed within sixty days, with DIL responsible for landscape works, irrigation installation, and supervision of electrical works. The result is a sustainable and low-maintenance environment that aligns with the mosque’s identity as a place of worship and gathering. Al Hada Mosque stands as an example of how landscape can enhance sacred architecture—framing moments of shade, fragrance, and reflection while remaining deeply rooted in the ecological realities of Riyadh.
