ZMB RESIDENCE Navigate to see our project ZMB Residence The ZMB Residence landscape has been envisioned as a private oasis composed of four distinct yet interconnected zones. Each zone is designed to respond to its microclimate while collectively framing the villa in greenery that matures with time. At its core is the open to sky basement courtyard, lined with bougainvillea and climbing plants that, with careful maintenance, will evolve into a dense vertical garden. Here the intent is to immerse residents in a desert oasis, a place to pause, sit, and enjoy framed views of the swimming pool surrounded by color and texture. The shaded planter boxes throughout the villa are filled with hardy desert scape species chosen for their sculptural beauty and ability to thrive in indirect light. These create pockets of calm within the architecture, connecting the indoors with the outdoors. Along the main street, a composition of canopy trees and bougainvillea will in time cover the inner compound walls, softening the boundaries of the residence. Complementing this vertical rhythm are pennisetum grasses and canna which add movement, seasonal bloom, and texture. The architecture of the villa is subtle and minimal, and the planting has been carefully curated to complement this character. The landscape adds richness and depth while retaining clarity, ensuring that every planter and courtyard enhances the architectural intent rather than overwhelming it. Throughout the day the atmosphere shifts. Morning light accentuates the forms of succulents and palms, while evening lighting transforms the vertical walls into dramatic green tapestries. The garden engages all senses with bursts of bougainvillea color, thesubtle fragrance of plantings, and the gentle sway of grasses in the breeze. More than a collection of plants, the ZMB Residence landscape has been crafted as an evolving sanctuary, one that offers shade, comfort, and a timeless sense of retreat in the heart of the desert. Shihabi Residence
SHIHABI RESIDENCE Navigate to see our project Shihabi Residence The Shihabi Residence is a boutique-scale villa landscape renovation, set within an area of less than 5,000 sq.m, designed to immerse the client in fragrance, flowers, and greenery. At the entrance, the design emphasizes scent with the planting of Cestrum nocturnum(Queen of the Night) and Cestrum diurnum (Queen of the Day), ensuring that both daytime and evening arrivals are marked by distinctive fragrance. The villa’s architecture plays a key role in the landscape experience—its windows act as frames, capturing views of the outside garden as living artworks. To complement these perspectives, the front garden is structured with cycads, whose bold forms and textured foliage create sculptural compositions. Initially five cycads were placed, but their differing heights and foliage density meant the composition appeared visually light. Adjustments were made to enrich the density of the planting, ensuring the framed views convey depth and lushness. Around the boundaries, a varied palette of bougainvillea and climbers soften the walls and introduce cascades of color, while the wider garden is filled with flowering plants to meet the client’s wish for abundant blooms. This renovation transforms the residence into a sensory-rich garden, balancing fragrance, framed views, and lush greenery to create an intimate floral retreat. PROJECT IMAGES
The Serenity Garden Villa
THE SERENITY GARDEN VILLA Navigate to see our project THE SERENITY GARDEN VILLA The Serenity Garden is envisioned as a residential retreat that combines order and tranquility with vibrant layers of planting. Designed as a series of pockets, the garden unfolds gradually, guiding visitors through structured paths, shaded seating areas, and moments of quiet reflection. At the heart of the design lies the central pergola, a semi-shaded structure that anchors the composition and offers a gathering point embraced by lush greenery. The landscape is composed with a balance of geometry and softness. Linear walkways define the circulation, while planting beds filled with flowering shrubs, grasses, and seasonal accents create a rhythm of color and texture. Groves of trees are positioned to frame views and provide shade, softening the edges of the space and enhancing the sense of enclosure. The inclusion of climbers and flowering borders ensures that the garden remains alive with seasonal interest and fragrance. Water is introduced delicately, with features like the central fountain providing both sound and movement, adding to the garden’s calm atmosphere. The thoughtful layering of native and adapted plants not only reduces maintenance but also creates a thriving ecosystem, attracting birds and pollinators. This garden is more than a landscape, it is a serene escape, designed to be experienced both from within and through the windows of the residence, where every view is framed as a living picture of nature’s harmony.
